Johan Camargo was considered the best fielding middle infielder in the Braves organization. He hit .299 last year with a .452 slugging percentage in 241 at bats.

So why are the Braves holding him back?

He's hitting .308 with a .400 OBP in 15 at bats so far this season.

Camargo was supposed to be the starting third baseman this season until he got hurt. Now the Braves have acquired Jose Bautista who is getting into shape at Gwinnett so he can take over at third.

What am I missing here? Why is Camargo being shoved aside, even though he has done nothing but produce on the major league level?
